Founded in 2013, Know Your IX (KYIX) is a survivor- and youth-led project of Advocates for Youth that aims to empower students to end sexual and dating violence in their schools.

In 2015, POLITICO Magazine named KYIX as one of the 50 influencers transforming American politics. Since then KYIX has trained millions of students on their civil rights under Title IX, supported over 300 student survivors in writing op-eds to center survivors’ stories, defeated 10 bills that would have overturned survivors’ rights, supported over 100 students on campaigns to challenge their schools to address violence and discrimination, released our State Policy Playbook, and launched the #HandsOffIX campaign to stop the Trump Administration’s attacks on Title IX.

Girlthrive, Inc. is a 100% volunteer based non-profit that helps girls heal and move on with their lives with power and agency to end the cycle of abuse. It is the only non-profit organization specifically honoring teen girls and young women who have survived sex abuse. Founded and directed by Dr. Patti Feuereisen, author of Invisible Girls and a psychologist in Brooklyn, NY. She works to develop training programs for clinical staff, speaks on radio and the web, conducts workshops for girls and young women all over the country, and consults with courts and schools while continuing her pro-bono work with Girlthrive.
